Stylist's

Becca Kessler is our youngest stylist and has been with Strands for Hair for 5 years now. She has had advance training form Vidal Sassoon and enjoys cutting, coloring and highlights. Becca is also excellent with styles/updo's for any occasion and is exceptional at The Brazilian Blowout.

Marnie Boucher is our newest stylist at Strands. She has been doing hair for over 22 years and is Vidal Sassoon trained. Marnie is not only an expert in wet cutting but an expert in dry cutting curly or texture hair, The Brazilian Blowout and Hair Extensions. In addition she is a great colorist in highlighting and in creative colors and was a color educator for years. Marnie will rock your hair and she absolutely loves what she does!

Jon-Scott is a second generation stylist. Having grown up in a salon he developed a passions and love for hair at a young age. Offering services including 9 methods of extensions, color, cut, styling, updo's (including bridal) as well as Brazilian Blowout. "Passions is the only love I need, stay beautiful." -Jon-Scott

 Wendi Bear recently reloacted back to Long Beach after working in a top Las Vegas Resort! She is a Licensed Cosmetology Instructor, extension specialist and bridal party expert specializing in Permanente Gel Polish and make up services for all your events. Do you need a manicure while your color processes? Not a problem! Wendi is excited to be back at Strands where she has worked for almost a decade.

Cheryl Tobin has been with Strands for over 11 years. She is excellent at cutting, clipper cuts, hair extensions and is certified and exceptional in The Yuko Straightening. On her days off she can be found spending time with her three kids.

  Marti Delano stylist for over 40 years. She is a specialist in color, cut, perms and can roll a good old set. If you love good hair and to talk Marti is the stylist for you.

Bill Hyndshaw has been a stylist for over 20 years. He is great with color, cuts and curly hair. Bill is not only known for his hair skills but also his shampoo massages at the bowl.

 Katrice Troncoso has been a stylist since 1996. As a color specialist & master stylist her goal is to achieve your 'best look'. She is continually developing new skills and futhuring her education to keep up with the newest trends of each and every season. She is certified in Brazilian Blowout, Ombre and is excellent at extensions.
       
 Laura Moore has been a Hair Stylist for 30 years. She is an expert at color & cutting for women and men.
Laura enjoys running and playing golf.

Nori Ito has been doing hair for many years. He is a great colorist, cutter and is certified in Yuko Straightening. Nori speaks Japanese and English. Nori plays volleyball whenever possible.

Mary Murray has been doing hair for many years. She is a cutter and colorist. She is originally form Ireland.  Mary loves to knit and spend time with her family.

Lisa Fortelny is an excellent colorist, cutter and trained in Ombre Color. She has been doing hair for over 23 years. Lisa gets enjoyment from not only her family but from shopping and basking in the sun.

Hank Fohring is a Master Barber specializing in men's cuts and color. He is a three time salon owner doing business in Long Beach for over 39 years. He has been the owner of Strands for 20 years.
